Update OAuth flows by October 19 to enable workspace members to install your app We're changing our OAuth token model so that any workspace member can authenticate a public integration, not just admins. On October 19, we will migrate all existing workspace-level tokens to user-level tokens. If you have a public integration, make sure you prepare for this change with our guide here to avoid breaking existing connections.

Upgrade your API version to access our newest endpoints and block types Please upgrade to the 2021-08-16 version of the API to access our newest endpoints and block types — including support for code, call out, and quote blocks. Any new features released after September 28 will not be supported on older versions of the API. See more about this change here.

Note: We won't always require an upgrade to the newest API version to access our latest features. The 2021-08-16 version added strict validation of unknown keys, and we are no longer making exceptions for new API endpoints to make these backwards compatible for versions older than 2021-08-16.

• We've added support for more block types! Code blocks, callout blocks, inline database and database page blocks, equation blocks, and quote blocks are all supported now in the Append and Retrieve block children API endpoints.
• We've released additional support for Databases! Now you can find the URL of a Notion page in a Database object, and create relation and roll-up properties.
• We've released a Get Page Property API endpoint to individually retrieve the value of database page properties. This includes the ability to paginate through a list of property item objects with long values or many page references, such as formula, relations, and roll up properties.
• We've released a new API endpoint /v1/users/me which returns information about the owner of the integration.
• We released a new endpoint that allows you to delete block objects.
